1. Cancellation Requests

Customers may cancel a booking by providing written notice to Flight Ceylon Tours via email or WhatsApp.

The cancellation date will be considered as the date on which Flight Ceylon Tours receives the written cancellation request.

2. Standard Cancellation Policy

The following cancellation terms apply unless otherwise stated in the confirmed booking agreement or supplier terms:

• Cancellations made 14 days or more before the tour start date may be eligible for a refund, excluding non-refundable charges.
• Cancellations made 7–13 days before the tour start date are eligible for a 50% refund.
• Cancellations made 0–6 days before the tour start date are not eligible for a refund.

3. Non-Refundable Fees

Bank charges, payment processing charges and transaction-related fees are non-refundable.

A non-refundable deposit of 20% is required to confirm the booking and will not be refunded in the event of cancellation.

4. No-Shows

If the customer fails to arrive on the agreed date without prior notice, no refund will be issued.

5. Rescheduling and Credit Options

Instead of a refund, customers may request to reschedule their booking.

Rescheduling may be allowed within 6–12 months from the original booking date, subject to availability, supplier approval, seasonal price changes and the nature of the original booking.

Any additional costs caused by date changes, supplier price differences or new arrangements must be paid by the customer.

6. Supplier Terms

Some hotels, transport providers, activity operators, airlines or other third-party suppliers may have their own cancellation and refund policies.

Where supplier terms apply, refunds, date changes or compensation will be subject to those supplier conditions.

7. Force Majeure and Unforeseen Events

Flight Ceylon Tours is not responsible for cancellations, delays, changes or losses caused by events beyond its control, including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, strikes, political unrest, health emergencies, road closures or other force majeure events.

In such cases, Flight Ceylon Tours will make reasonable efforts to assist with alternative arrangements where possible.
